| Tribute to a little boy |
Bobby age 3, strangled by his mother's boyfriend, Ray Ferrell, in Riverside Ca. during a visit w/ her. I will never forget him or stop loving his sweet memory. It has been 20 years now,
so what does time heal?
I'll try to describe the way
that I feel.
I once had an angel,
that lived at my house.
A waif, he was once,
but for a moment he wasn't.
He loved chocolate milk,
and being part of a family.
All the littlest things,
made him so happy!
B-ball and the sandbox
with buckets and trucks.
Taking baths,being dried off,
then powdered,and p.j.'d,
Ah, does it matter anymore?
It was hard to make sense,
of a little boy's death,
but Bobby was murdered.
The last thing he said,
"One more kiss for you,
one more for you Mommy"
Then I felt the goosebumps,
as the car rode away.
A yellow rosebud appeared,
on the day he was buried.
Maybe time heals,somehow.
But we never forget,
Our memories are alive,
so private and quiet.
I can turn on at will,
and hear his sweet laugh,
so softly,
and it fades out.
His little light never will.

| I think I'm getting sick |
Actually, I don't just think it. It's a fact. It started right after I got here this morning, it started out with that funny itchy feeling, I wonder if it's that allergy stuff happening again? If my nose was runny and my eyes weren't watering then I don't feel bad otherwise. But this is weird, I have a very odd taste in my mouth too. I haven't taken any thing, and I am not sure how to describe the taste. Whatever would do that?
I bought the flash cards last night for the baby. I figured it is worth doing, even though he's so young. So far he has definitely been responding to the things I saying and doing. So any how, today I used the letters D,A,N, and and the Y. There is a picture on one side, and of course on the reverse is the letter that begins the word. I also used both shape and colors, but only,blue,green,red yellow and purple. I can't imagine any reason, except that he favors them, but what a reaction he gave after seeing the green square!! It wasn't the first one shown or even the second one., and I observed his face and could tell by his eyes that he was paying attention to each card that I showed him. I think that he likes green,squares and blue also.
